One-sided honesty and avoidance of truth

27th January 2026

Dearest precious angel,

With all of us there is always that one person with whom we always want to remain honest, whom we don’t want to tell even a single lie, whom we never want to betray, with whom we want to remain as pure as sacred stream of water, to whom we want to talk with our inner soul, who we never want to see in pain, whose faith, trust and wish we never want to break, whom we want to give love, affection and care as much to the extent this world is lacking to fulfill that love, affection & care to that person, whom we want to be with till the last breath of our life and to whom we give the status of God & beyond. But what if we, over the time, slowly and steadily realize that all these emotions & honesty are just one-sided? This sudden realization breaks our heart making us realize how cruel, brutal & ruthless one could be and that too with someone who has always tried his best to do the best for that person, who even after getting all the hates, lies, fake promises and abuses, tried his best not letting any kind of stain spilled in the honor and image of that person. This realization hurts like a hell. Our broken heart starts finding excuses to avoid the truth but our brain doesn’t let this happen. We tend to get stuck in dilemma of listening to our heart or brain. Our heart tries his best to keep away that realization and to avoid the truth but our brain constantly gives reasons to face that painful realization and create hate in our heart. ALAS! May God give me some strength to face the realization but wait…my fight is with my God himself. My precious angel, you know whom I consider my God, right?

Your gem, Vivek Prasad
