When injury also reminds you of someone then how to escape from the pain?

15th February 2026

Dear precious angel,

Sprain! “Moch” we call it in Hindi. I clearly remember that you have also gone through the same pain. The only difference is I was with you during that pain but you are not with me in my pain. My ankle got injured today after slipping from corridor’s edge inside our society. It was such a painful slip that it felt like I would unable to even stand up but fortunately I was able to walk and reached my destination. But while coming back to home after 15-20min, I started feeling pain while walking. I took some rest in my bed but while getting up I felt extreme pain and went directly to ortho clinic for check up and found my ankle got sprained. According to Doctor, my ligament got injured. I still wanted to go for a work to our restaurant but the pain was so unbearable that I had got an estimation of what might happen tomorrow if I arrived today. So, I skipped the plan of going to our restaurant today. But it was not only that physical pain that was hurting me but it was the memory connected with similar pain that was hurting me. It was emotional pain for me more than just a physical pain. It was a ligament tear but eyes were getting tears. All those past memories were popping up on my mind when you had gone through same injury, my precious angel. I remember how bad I was feeling for you from deep inside my heart. How much I wanted to visit you that time for taking care of you being with you all day, only my heart knows. Though I couldn’t visit you, I still consulted my doctor about you and took some medicinal suggestions and remedies from him. But you know what was the best remedy for you? It waswhen I asked you to give two kicks to those stairs who made you slipped and you laughed! “Us stair ko jaha pe aap slip hue the 2 laath maar dena meri taraf se ki meri angel ko slip kaise krwaya usne.”

Your gem & deeply injured, Vivek Prasad
